Chiang Mai Walking Street
Chiangmai Walking Street is held every Saturday on Waulei Road from 4 - 10.30pm and every Sunday Rajadamnoen and praprokklao Road between 3 and 10pm. A good place to buy products produced under the government organised "one tambon one product" village enterprise scheme.
The market tries to be traditional and you will see a lot of Northern Thai Clothes being worn. There are displays of Thai dances and many street food vendors.
The streets are closed to traffic and vendors set up theri stalls. The concept is to create a fun atmosphere where food and tradtional also plays a part in addtion to the endless market stalls.
